How to Persevere in Your Home Based Business

By Karilyn Arias

You have entered or you are about to enter into one of the most fulfilling journeys of your life, owning your own home based business. However, you must know, that when you are about to receive a substantial amount of wealth or success, there is something called perseverance that you must keep in your heart and in your mind to reach your goals. To learn about how to persevere in your home based business is indeed a very complex and vast subject, since every person is different. Nevertheless, there are some common characteristics that must be maintained to persevere in the success of your business.

Faith:

Your vision may be this: you saw yourself as a Home Based Business entrepreneur with the purpose of owning your time, paying off your debt, and living a comfortable life. However, along the way, because of trials and tribulations in building your business, you got discouraged and stopped believing in your potential. But remember, like in anything that you do in life, you must believe in what you do at all time. Yes, I am talking about conviction, about faith, this is the belief in something that you do not have an abstract proof.

Boldness:

As humans, sometimes we forget that we must learn to appreciate the process of learning, even if it means not seeing results in the time that we wish. It is during this process of building and shaping both your entrepreneurial character and business that you achieve the boldness to control your mind and the difficult situations and obstacles that drive you to the valley of doubt, despair, and lack of faith in what you are doing. As you may have heard before, the mind is a battlefield; all your positive and negative thoughts are hosted there; it is up to you if you will allow those negative thoughts to control your life, which includes your emotions, ideas, and goals. But, how does this happen? Well, every time you hear a negative thought in your mind, or you hear a negative comment about your vision from someone else, that is when your imagination begins to go to work, yes that's right, all of us have some creativity in ourselves. Therefore, put your imagination to work, picture yourself that you are destroying those negative thoughts and send them straight to the abyss.

Value:

I believe that another reason why you stop persevering in your pursuit of your vision and achieving your goals is because of the lack of value to your personal growth. If you are not in a constant learning mode then pretty soon you will be working the hard way, spending a lot of your time and money on something that you probably would of be doing more efficiently or effectively, if only you would of taken the time to keep up to date with the things that matter to maintain your business flowing. And, this of course, can bring you discouragement, because you will learn at some point about new home based business owners making thousands while you are still making hundreds. It is imperative for you to keep learning and perfecting your skills and knowledge about your customers, members, industry, and life as a whole.

Patience

Even if you are really working hard, which at the beginning is a must, do not expect to be a millionaire in a blink of an eye. The wrong perception of success and wealth is to build your riches easily. I am not saying that there are not legitimate home based businesses out there offering an effective and well developed automated system for you to make money rapidly. What I am talking about here is not taking your business serious to the point of not

investing enough time to build it; and, taking your business serious also means having patience. If you do not apply patience while building your financial security, then perseverance is out of the equation; you will not persevere as you will lose your focus. Patience is not something that we have; patience is a fruit of the Spirit and you have to ask for it; you must embrace the times when you are put in situations to apply patience in your business and in life, that is the perfect moment for you to develop patience and understanding.

Do not give up; I assure you that your work will not be taken in vain. Keep a positive attitude no matter what. You will enjoy your success and wealth by applying perseverance in both your life and business.
