Here's a really simple but unbelievably effective tip you can use to get your home business prospects to take the action you want them to take.When you ask your prospective new business partners to opt in to your site, purchase a product, or join you in a home business opportunity tell them why you're asking them.

Scientific research has shown over and over again that giving a reason why when asking people to do a certain thing causes a "click whir" automatic response from the person you're asking to do whatever task.

And the almost unbelievable fact is as long as your give a reason of some kind, it doesn't even have to be a particular good or compelling one.

Human beings for the most part are geared to want to help their fellow man/woman. By giving a reason as to why you want them to do a particular act you cause that "click whir" response to happen and most will happily comply.

One scientific study involved placing a man in a line up for a public photocopying machine. The man simply asked those in front of him if he could jump to the front because he had a tight deadline to meet. His request was granted more than 99% of the time.

The test was run over and over and with each repetition, the reasons for wanting to jump the line were less and less valid. The final reason was "would you mind if I cut in front, I have to make some photo copies to make some photo copies."

Not exactly a spellbinding reason but, you know what, it worked just as well as the "tight deadline" reason and his request was granted almost every time.

"Click whir."

Next time you want your children to do something like getting ready for bed, tell them its time to get ready for bed and you'll probably have to remind them several times before they comply.

The next night, give them a reason why you're asking them to do it ("it's time to get ready for bed because I want you full of energy for school tomorrow") and watch what kind of a response you get.
