Alcoa Aluminum Layoffs | Alcoa Stock

Alcoa is the world leader in the production and management of primary aluminum, fabricated aluminum and alumina combined, through the active participation and growth in all major aspects of the industry. Alcoa announced it will cut about 13,500 jobs in 2009 that will affect employees locally and around the globe.

Alcoa's stock did not react much Tuesday, closing down 3 percent, but up 100 percent from November when the low Alcoa be layoffs.
