Macy's Store Closings

As the Journal previewed Wednesday night, Macy’s this morning announced the closing of 11 supplies, a move that came after an arduous feast term. Macy’s also said Thursday that same-keep sales for December destroy 4%, among what it called “the most challenging fiscal environment in recall.”

Macy said absolute clearance sales at the stores will create within the next week, excepting for the Hawaii pile, which will not foothold an absolute selling.

The 176 unnatural people at Crestwood may be considered for open positions at other Macy’s locations, but it’s too rapidly to know how many will land other work with the company, said Jim Sluzewski, a Macy’s spokesman.
